The
Board of Directors of Pennsylvania Dairy Princess
& Promotion Services, Inc. is pleased
to announce the appointment of Jessica J. Hernandez as its new Executive Director effective
January 4, 2010.
A native of Maryland, Jessica brings a wealth of enthusiasm and know how to
the Pennsylvania Dairy Princess program. A graduate of the University of
Maryland, College of
Agriculture and Natural Resources, she has recently completed her Master of
Arts degree in Contemporary Communications from the College of Notre Dame of
Maryland.
She has served as an Alternate and Area Dairy princess and as the 2006-2007
Maryland State Dairy Princess. Since relinquishing her state title in 2007
she has remained active in dairy promotion as regional co-chairperson for
the Maryland Dairy Princess program and served as advisor, role model and
chaperone for many succeeding dairy princesses.
All of her activities have focused on educating the public and promoting the
dairy industry and we look forward to her bringing those same skills and
enthusiasm to her position as Director of the Pennsylvania program.
As a Board, we welcome Jessica and look forward to working with her on our
many upcoming activities in this new decade of Dairy Promotion.
